The Adventure

Strange the way the wonderment can call
Simple beauty, like a secret answer
Unknown even to the possessor

Then the wanting comes, urgently
The needing
Making dark and hungry what was light

Still, there are moments of near awe
From the tranquility
The seeming perfection in moments close

Greater the shocking lust
Having waited and pined, so carefully nurtured
Now ready to be released

The play is enjoyed and the mind stops
All is only the feeling
The special truth, even if only for the now

The amazement is total
The powers and the skills
Drawing more and more, giving strength

Under it all is the real thing
The truth of it all
The finality of all desire

Then the world returns, the breeze and the rumble
With the whispers of a tomorrow
Waiting

I love this post, it sounds like you were waiting for someone special, and you got her, good for you. I have been reading your blogs now for awhile, from another friend, and no I am not creating a blog. I love it when a guy opens his heart, as you have. Keep the blogs coming.

Grey - I am happy you liked it. It always feels good to let the mind mumble, eh?

Anon - It is easy to be open in a semi-anonymous setting, so that is freeing. But I haven't got what I was looking for. Until then, this little blog gives me an excuse to browse for, um, Erotic imagery.

Limpidus - Let the mind take it all in! haha! Thanks!
