I had always heard that it is better to regret something you HAVE done than to regret something you haven't.
Don't know. I have regrets in both areas and right now I would say the biggest regret I have is something (or, moreover someone) I had done.
There were blaring neon signs with flashing arrows and ear peircing sirens going off and I continued doing it (her).
Now I trapse thru minefields...
i know this girl who got carpe diem and que sera sera tattooed on her forearms....simple text...i thought it was stupid :)
but well.
The two lines of wisdom in your poem really hit home :)

I'm working on a tattoo for myself, little bits of pieces of things mangles into one. When it's done you will look at it and know it's MY tat! :)

I have two tats, one more coming in November. Both of my current tats took me years to choose - SURVIVOR on my belly (for numerous reasons, not the TV show or the dumb song) and a symbol of my religion on my left cheekbone. I'm getting a Celtic knot on my lower back in honour of my father who is no longer with us.
