So, sure. Maybe there was too many goblins.
Ok, maybe they had way more weapons and stuff then they should have.
Yeah yeah yeah.
But them’s the breaks, I tell ya.
Sometimes I just sort of loose my shit.
Go a little bat shit, dice throwing crazy.
It happens now and then.
I think it has something to do with the lack of creative input.
They store bought adventures are well made.
Excellent style and flow.
Interesting things that I don’t always use included.
And there is a fun side of knowing others are sharing these very games.
But, I don’t know.
Not making up the game…

I wish this was a perfect world. That people didn’t kill and hurt each other. That we all took the time to really think of the consequences of what we do and say. That we would empathize. Sympathize. Care and be fair.
And I hope people are not crazy. That they do not treat others badly just for the perverse pleasure. That even if they are being wrong, that they somehow, mistakenly, think they are being right. That even if you and I have been forced apart, that someday the crazy will be burnt away by the light of logic and even mindedness.
The truth though is that even in my limited experiences on this spinning orb, I feel that these wishes and hopes are in vain. That the world will never be perfect, and never could be. That crazy is just so deep in some people that it might just be all they are.
But that isn’t so bad. Perfection is an ideal, not a need.
These bent and beaten Wishes and Hopes are good. They let us dream. And it is our dreams that change the world. Our dreams give us reasons to keep on keeping on. They let us get through pains and tears.
Because some things in life are bad. Wrong. They must be met.
Like war. Like not seeing you.
So, some must fight.
I have never been a tough guy. Never been much more than a aging child. But I see things so differently from a couple of years ago.
My life has been filled with loving family and friends. I have laughed more than most. Then things went rough. Part of that was the changes in my family. The breaking. The lessening. The loss.
Then I went looking for the edges of this world (Hint: there are none. The edges are in us).
Then you. Nothing was the same. Everything was better, even the frustration of dealing with fools.
I Miss you. I Love you. I have tried, so much. Constantly. And will continue. This is, like all the battles, all tied into the idea that the world can be better if we try. It is the trying that matters.
I don’t want to be overly dramatic. I have every reason to believe that we will again share a smile. I just like to make sure some thoughts make it to you no matter what.

I was wandering around, visiting a mind set not seen as often in my nights anymore.
Into a small place I ventured, nearly a recess from the evenings happenings
I knew that it wasn’t really the correct use of the space
Or rather, I was using it right, but not really right to be using it so.

So when a comment came, easy and on the side, I pounced.
Righteous indignation, all prepped and poised.
But that wasn’t how the comment was meant.

In fact, the opposite.
It was friendly, full of camaraderie.
Referencing the exact same past that I had set up as knives and shields
To do my battling for my cause.

It sucks to know you are the one wrong, again.
Simply so.
I promptly realized and corrected my wrong way-ing.
And all was allowed to pass.

Thankfully so. On into the world and the night I went.
Thinking back, I still am a little hit by that small scene.
Not because I was wrong; I often am.
But because I was acting out of my self. Out of character.

Why, I wonder? What was I leaning towards?
I’ll never know, I guess.
And I am happy with that.
Now it is on this ending of a quiet longer break

That I find some unexpected peace

First of all, I just love how an assumed grown man has to air his dirty laundry on FB and his blog to get fake sympathy to make himself feel better.
If these people only knew the ASShole you really were, you certainly have been doing a good job at fooling everyone lately.
I find it hard to believe you have turned over this new leaf since you continue to be the same jack ASS to me.
I actually did call you yesterday, you may have gotten a missed call or a hang up if you actually had your phone on, I received an important call the same time your phone rang once and I switched over to answer, then we had company, then we went out, then we came home had dinner and a bath and I was getting her ready for bed and another attempt to call you and I received a message from a friend that reads your blog and they sent me the contents and after reading, I figured why should I even bother calling someone who continues to put me down and call me names to make himself feel better, very mature grant!
You don't care about anyone but yourself, never have, never will.
I'm not going to let my daughter be disappointed by some selfish bastard that has no remorse and takes no responsibility for his actions, why should she get to know you when you will just disappoint her too.
As for that last minute cheap ASS Christmas gift, well, we won't even go there, you know it sucks!

I am not going to argue or state my opposing views. But this is typical of what I must deal with. Every time.

In fact, I will wonder out loud on this topic.

When I was little I loved toys that were not restrictive or already made to be played a certain way.
You know, all these electronic ‘push This button’ ohh ‘toys makes This noise and That lights up’
Oh. Wow. Don’t be fooled. The poor child is bored with that sort of thing by the third time, and unless they have other toys, then they just don’t know that life and playtime doesn’t have to be boring.
But then again, I have always had an active mind. Maybe those with Herd mentality minds don’t understand what I mean. But that doesn’t matter, as my goal is to make sure a Little Someone never joins the Herd.
Hence, I gave some Toy Blocks. Simple and tough. But they challenge the imagination right away and allow the creative and inquisitive mind to grow. Here, from a website about toys:

Let’s give it a shot. Why not?
I don’t just mean lets be Not Dead.
I mean, living.
Vibrant. Whatever that could be.

I miss someone who I really don’t know
Except that she is me.
But really, who of us knows ourselves?
Out of all the people we meet, we mostly see Me from just face on,
And that tricky bugger always knows when I am looking.
I think that Me puts on an act, too, when I see him in the mirror.
I don’t think what I see is the same Me that others see.
That is normal for everyone.
There is this mental reaction we build up to something familiar and comforting.
If, for example, you have a girlfriend you have started to see.
At first, she is she. Sure, maybe hot, maybe not.
As you spend more time with her, and associate her with pleasing feelings,
Her face, her image, begins to be more appealing to you.
So, that when you show her pic to the buddies, you think she is the most gorgeous woman in the world.
Which is good. To you, she is. That is the way it should be.
But to anyone else, she is still just another girl.
The same thing happens as a baby with our parents faces (and voices, and smells, and touch.. etc)
With our friends and such too.
I think it must also happen with our own image.
There is a certain age where a baby can recognize it’s image in the mirror.
For some of us, we never look away. For others, we never really look at all.
Some of us are more the Actor. Some more the Investigator. Some just take everything as is.
Ok. So, I miss someone I don’t know.
Except she is part of Me. The extension. The next style.
Of someone I don’t really know.
Damn.
I take responsibility for my part in the events that have crafted this Now.
There are ways I would rather it. And there are ways that could be much worse.
She is safe, happy. Loved, from near and from far.
Things will improve.
That isn’t what I am talking about, though. I am thinking of the connection.
Which doesn’t make sense, maybe. But is no less solid for that. Even if mostly one-sided for now.
These confusing feelings are brought forward from recent events.
How things could be different in one way, but are different now in another way.
The finality of choice. Hit or stand.
See, though. The game might not care. The dealer might have you beat either way. Usually does.
As I have said to people at tables, “See all these lights a-blinking? They all cost money.”
I started with talking about giving a try. But I would really like to just start with
Giving a shit.
To really care. About something. Not have to work at it.
That sounds horrible. But that is how life has been. Crafted emotions. Designed Caring.
Everyone else seemed to give a shit, so I tried it on.
Really though, when not being interrogated by conversation or action,
There is almost nothing there. Empty. And it is so peaceful.
To not care. To not worry. To just breathe and think and wonder.
Now, you might notice I say almost.
There have always been those things that I never had to fake.
The easiest to point to is, strangely, fear.
I have said it before, but I think fear is always near.
Like some understanding about how indifferent the universe is, really.
That all our dreams and hopes are really just wishful thinking.
Also, I have said, that this near constant hovering fear allows me to
Operate in a way that others might take as bravery.
Really, it is like not noticing a hang nail on a finger that has been severed.
Ok. Off the path there for a minute.
There are other feelings that are there all the time. Not worked at.
They are more powerful than the fears or worries or whatever.
That closeness and caring to family and friends.
Even the family who aren’t friends. For now.
Nothing feels better than blood on blood.
Or the friends, as said before, who are family.
To the special ones, who feel more than family.
Who are always tugging at your heart or mind.
Even if you might never will really be friends again.
The closeness, once shared, has it’s own place. Protected.
At least it is like that for me. For others, it is different.
They might feel the high, then the low, and then move on.
Or, worse, really feel something negative.
I have never hated. Anyone or anything.
I would like to think that I have, and do, love.
Every time I have acted or felt what I thought was hate
Was, every time, really confusion or frustration.
It didn’t last.
The opposite was a line from Barfly, now that I think about it.
“It's hatred. It's the only thing that lasts.”
Well, I am sure there are those that hate me. And maybe they should.
I used to put a lot of effort into being an asshole.
But I was really just searching. Trying to find something.
Like most of us. I just did it more openly. More fully.
Which brings me to the latest series of me being an asshole.
Oh, sure. It isn’t like before. I am not doing to find out some result.
Like a mad scientist. Or test pilot.
This time it was about something that I new I had to reign in.
To be honest with myself about which parts I wanted to keep and which to jettison.
As the parts I wanted to keep I very much wish to, and would have lost for sure
Had I kept going as I was. As is, things maybe be damaged. But they can heal.
If allowed.
Some things will never be the same. This is a good thing.
Some events Should change things.
If that change is fought or ignored
Then it pays a disservice to the importance to the event.
Or speaks lowly of how things were to start with.
It just sucks that one has to feel the pain.
And the other is an asshole.
Wow. That was a ramble.
If I broke this post up with pics as usual, it would take about fifty.
And the post would be pages and pages long.
Not that I have anything against an excuse to post a bunch of cute pics.
This time, though, it is just the thoughts. The words on their own.

Seems there is this stupid iguana-eyed small minded and large assed bitch

I want you to just remember that no matter now bad of a person you say I am, you were never good enough for me. I never respected you, and you must have no self respect for how you allowed yourself to be treated. Your pathetic and obvious ploys to keep me have failed, and now you are hopelessly holding on to the last vestiges of control you mistakenly think you have.
You are fucking up the one thing you have a chance to do well. To be right about.
But you can’t fight your nature to lie to yourself, and to get mad at others when they show you reality doesn’t go with your fucked up view.
And when this part of your life slips away, cause it will, you will be even more alone and messed up than you where when this started.
All you had to do was not be a bitch, and you could have taken a big step into the world of adults and sane people. But you aren’t ready for that.
You have never been anyone’s first choice. Ever. Everyone that you think cares about you calls you crazy and laughs at the stories about your latest spastic actions.
You piss me off, but mostly because you waste the time of people important to me.
